A little St.Patty’s PSA

As I’m sure you know, St. Patrick’s Day is March 17 and it’s fast approaching!¬†Whether your celebration consists of green beer or hunting for four-leaf clovers, we wish you the best of luck.

But more importantly, we’re here to remind you that if you’re not wearing green on March 17, some angry little leprechaun is going to pinch you! Add a green jewel to your St. Patty’s day ensemble to avoid an angry pinch.

Wear green. Don’t get pinched.



Cupcakes, Cake Pops, and… Donuts?

Cupcakes were always a childhood delight. You couldn’t wait for it to be someone’s birthday so they would bring in tasty little cakes topped with a nice mound of frosting. You feared getting older when there would be far fewer birthday cupcakes. Luckily, cupcakes made a big-kid comeback! We started seeing them everywhere in all kinds of flavors (and here I was thinking they only came in chocolate and funfetti), even entire shops completely dedicated to cupcakes.

Next came the cake pop. A good alternative to the cupcake because the frosting is mixed right in with the cake, making it much less messy, and it’s on a stick. ¬†Seriously, foods on a stick are way more fun than non-stick food.

So what’s next? What will be the next trendy sweet treat? Well, I’m here to tell you it’s donuts. DONUTS! I can’t say I’m disappointed. Growing up, I went to Dunkin Donuts every morning with my dad where he got me a strawberry frosted donut with sprinkles (much like the one in the photo). Donuts are a blast from my past and I’m welcoming it with open arms!
